HINDALCO ALUCHEM TRANSACTION DROPPED AFTER PROLONGED DELAYS: Hindalco Industries has decided to discontinue its proposed acquisition of AluChem, with both sides agreeing to bring the previously signed transaction arrangement to an end. The decision comes after the deal remained pending for an extended period due to closure-related issues that were outside the control of both companies. The termination does not indicate a change in Hindalco’s broader expansion approach. The company continues to assess potential strategic opportunities, particularly in the US market, as part of its long-term growth plans. AluChem, meanwhile, will remain an independent business and continue its operations and customer relationships across the speciality alumina value chain. Market View: The development closes a long-pending transaction that had faced execution delays, while Hindalco’s continued search for opportunities keeps its overseas expansion strategy in focus.

Asian stocks snapped a three-session losing streak on tech strength, with regional indices climbing as investors awaited US inflation data that could reshape bond markets. Technology shares drove the rally across Asia, reversing momentum from recent weakness. The rebound came as traders positioned ahead of a key US inflation report, data that historically moves both equities and fixed income significantly. Bond markets remained volatile, with yields sensitive to any shift in inflation expectations that could influence Federal Reserve policy signals. The setup highlights the interconnection between US macro data and regional risk appetite. Tech-heavy markets in Asia tend to outperform when growth expectations stabilize and inflation concerns ease, both of which hinge on the incoming US inflation reading. MARKET PULSE VIEW Tech-led rallies in Asia often precede or follow US inflation surprises because tech valuations are most sensitive to real rates. If the inflation reading comes in cooler than expected, bond yields could fall and equity multiples could expand, a tailwind for technology stocks. Conversely, hotter inflation could reverse today's gains and pressure growth names again. The critical uncertainty is whether the data confirms the recent disinflation trend or signals a stall in progress. WATCH NEXT US inflation report timing and magnitude; movement in 10-year Treasury yields following the data release; follow-through in Asian tech indices if bonds stabilize or spike. 🚨 🇺🇸 TRUMP WANTS EUROPE TO RELEASE 120 MILLION BARRELS OF EMERGENCY DIESEL FRANCE AND GERMANY FACE A POSSIBLE U.S. DIESEL EXPORT BAN UNLESS THEY TAP THEIR STOCKPILES WASHINGTON WANTS THE RELEASE OVER SIX MONTHS THAT’S MORE THAN 40% OF THE EU’S EMERGENCY DIESEL STOCKS IN THE LATEST AVAILABLE FIGURES THE GOAL IS TO BRING FUEL PRICES DOWN BUT USING THAT MUCH WOULD LEAVE EUROPE WITH A SMALLER EMERGENCY BUFFER RIGHT AS WINTER APPROACHES

🚨 ₹35,000 CRORE! FIIs are dumping Indian stocks at an alarming pace. Here’s what’s happening in the Indian stock market: 🔴 FII selling: ₹34,966 crore in just 4 sessions 🟢 DII buying: ₹33,455 crore in the same 4 sessions 📉 Nifty 50: Down over 3% this week 📉 Nifty Midcap: Down nearly 4% this week Despite DIIs buying almost as much as FIIs are selling, the market continues to fall. The big question: How much longer can domestic investors absorb this selling pressure? 👀 Is this a buying opportunity or a warning sign? 👇

CITADEL’S RUBNER: Q4 IS THE “RELOAD” Citadel Securities’ Scott Rubner expects retail investors to return to U.S. stocks in October after trading activity cooled sharply in September. He says lower positioning, cheaper valuations, returning corporate buybacks and earnings season create a better setup for investors to rebuild exposure. “September delivered much of the reset we wanted to see. Q4 is the reload,” Rubner said.
