A completed buyback is worth more than a promise. @grvt_io has completed its first open-market buyback, purchasing and permanently burning 1.1M GRVT, nearly 1% of the circulating supply at the time. The tokens were burned, not held in a treasury. The transaction is verifiable on the public dashboard. Monthly buybacks are planned but future purchases remain discretionary. Grvt has also opened deposits for USDG from Robinhood Chain and USDC from Arc, expanding the ways users can bring capital onto the platform ahead of the earn-and-trade rollout. I’m most interested in Stable Funding Perps: zero trading fees, once-daily funding and a target of 1,000+ markets spanning stocks, FX, commodities, and indices. The buyback is done. 1.1M $GRVT bought back and permanently burned, nearly 1% of the circulating supply at the time. not tokens sitting in a treasury, actually removed from supply. but the buyback is only the first part of @grvt_io 's 2.0 roadmap. the next thing I'm watching is Stable Funding Perps, planned for November. the idea is pretty interesting for active traders: ➛ stocks, FX, commodities and indices in one place ➛ zero trading fees ➛ funding settled once a day instead of every few hours they're also targeting 1,000+ markets by the end of December as someone who spends a lot of time trading perps, I'm curious to see how the funding costs and execution actually compare once it's live less interested in another roadmap announcement, more interested in seeing how it works in practice
