Crypto Market Friday Update📊 Broad red day, but Bitcoin is holding up. BTC is only −0.4% at $82,304, with dominance at 59.35%. Alts are weaker: ETH −2.8%, SOL −4.3%. Greens are mostly stablecoins. Capital is sticking with BTC; higher beta names are taking the hit.

Q3 crypto sentiment shifted from fear to greed, but corporate funding did not rebound with asset prices. Bitcoin rose 43%, while US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $6.34 billion in net inflows; capital largely flowed into assets rather than startups. Crypto M&A volume stayed broadly stable, but deal value fell 83% quarter over quarter as buyers pursued licenses and specific capabilities. Strategic investors, including CEX-affiliated funds, gained influence as major legacy VCs led fewer deals. Seed activity fell to 15% of transactions, while disclosed Series A-C funding rose 29%. Debt and cash-flow-based financing expanded beyond equity, with capital concentrating on payments, stablecoins, tokenized securities and infrastructure linking crypto with traditional finance. Why it matters: The market is favoring validated businesses with revenue, licenses and institutional use cases over unproven early-stage ventures. Read the full article:

Bitcoin ETFs saw another 2.86K BTC in net outflows yesterday. That follows the 5.67K BTC that left the funds the day before, bringing the two-day total to around 8.53K BTC. ETF demand has clearly weakened as Bitcoin has fallen from the $87K area. I’m watching whether flows start turning positive again. If outflows continue while BTC remains weak, it could make a move toward $79.5K more likely.

JUST IN: 🚨 @RobinhoodApp has reportedly purchased $25 MILLION worth of $BTC for its own balance sheet — marking the company’s first-ever Bitcoin acquisition for its corporate holdings, according to @arkham. Known for expanding its crypto footprint through @RobinhoodCrypto and its blockchain initiative, Robinhood is now making a notable move into direct Bitcoin ownership. This is different from simply offering crypto trading to customers. Holding $BTC on its own balance sheet puts the asset directly within the company’s corporate treasury. With @vladtenev at the helm, Robinhood continues to broaden its presence across digital assets and blockchain infrastructure. A first Bitcoin purchase may be only one transaction, but it adds a new chapter to Robinhood’s evolving relationship with crypto.
