Monday 9:45 AM ET — Services PMI 10:00 AM ET — ISM Services PMI Tuesday 8:30 AM ET — US Trade Balance Wednesday 8:15 AM ET — ADP Jobs Report 2:00 PM ET — FOMC Minutes Thursday 8:30 AM ET — Jobless Claims Friday 10:00 AM ET — Michigan Consumer Sentiment + Inflation Expectations The FOMC minutes are the main event for me. Bitcoin is already sitting near major resistance, so any change in the Fed outlook or rate expectations could quickly translate into a bigger move across risk assets. Definitely a week I’ll be paying attention to.

NEW: The SEC has approved the first 3x leveraged Bitcoin and Ether ETPs for listing in the United States. On October 2, the Commission cleared a Cboe BZX rule change (Release No. 34-106577) allowing Volatility Shares’ VS Trust to list six triple-leveraged products: 3x Bitcoin, 3x Ether, 3x Gold, 3x Silver, 3x Crude Oil, and 3x Natural Gas. At the same time, none of the funds will hold the underlying assets directly. They will track CME futures (for $BTC and $ETH) or equivalent commodity futures, resetting daily to target three times the one-day performance before fees. Trading cannot begin until the related Form S-1 registration statements become effective under the Securities Act of 1933. No launch date has been set. This is the first time U.S. regulators have approved triple-leveraged crypto exposure in the same order as traditional commodities. Leveraged crypto products just expanded.
