Bitcoin privacy could be getting a serious upgrade 👀 Researchers have proposed “Shielded Bitcoin,” using Zcash-style cryptography to hide transaction amounts, senders and recipients without changing Bitcoin’s rules. Big idea. But it’s still early: there’s no finished way to move real BTC in and out, and the design has trade-offs to solve. If they can crack those pieces, private Bitcoin payments could open up a whole new conversation.
