The $1,999 iPhone Duo just failed JerryRigEverything’s durability test. Despite its IP68 rating, dust got into the hinge through multiple openings and messed with the magnets that keep the phone shut. The bend test was even worse. A permanent green line appeared across the inner display, which then stopped responding. After testing foldables for seven years, JerryRigEverything’s Nelson said most of them survive his tests. “The iPhone Duo did not.”
