if your “AI agent” still needs you to do the final step, is it really an agent? The @sleepagotchi is setting a higher bar for what an agent should actually do. they cited HFS Research, where 60% of enterprises said their most advanced agents are still handling mostly rules based tasks. then they showed the difference. a chatbot answers: “should I take magnesium?” an agent understands your context, decides what you need, finds the right product, completes the purchase and gets it delivered. Sleepagotchi already has part of this loop live. its Sleep Coach can use data from Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura, WHOOP, CUDIS, Pulse and your phone to understand your sleep and suggest what to do next. but there’s an important gap. the shopping and checkout flow shown in the graphic isn’t live. Shopping Agent is still a roadmap item. so today, the product is closer to: context → decision → recommendation the bigger vision is: context → decision → action → outcome that last step is the real test. if Sleepagotchi can eventually move from telling you what to do to actually completing the task for you, that’s when its definition of an AI agent becomes much more meaningful.

Anthropic says someone used Claude Opus 5.5 to migrate a 680,000 line codebase in less than a day. If this is what AI coding agents are going to look like, give me one reason why companies will even hire software engineers in the first place.
